My name is Yuki (pronounced You-key). I've been a massage therapist / body worker for almost 20 years and I combine mind-body connection through different massage therapy techniques, to help guide my clients to tap into their true self and live a healthy and happy life. By educating my clients and giving them the power to heal themselves, it makes me feel good knowing I have changed someone's life, however big or small, through massage therapy.
I attended McKinnon Institute of Massage in Oakland, Lymphatic Therapy and Myofascial Release classes at the Hands of Healing Massage School in Tujunga, pediatric massage classes with the founder Tina Allen of the LIddle Kidz Foundation in California and Japan, Oncology Reiki at Huntington Beach Reiki, and Greet the Day - Institute of Integrative Oncology Online.
Before moving to the Los Angeles over seven years ago, I had my massage therapy business in Northern California East Bay for over ten years. While there, I also worked with the Sandra J. Wing Healing Therapies Foundation in Pleasanton, CA, for five years, providing massage therapy to cancer patients undergoing cancer treatments.
Having grown up in Hawaii, I bring the Aloha Spirit everywhere I go and to everyone I meet. I also have a Bachelor's Degree in International Business from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
My interests include hiking, reading, chanting, meditation, mind-body connection, tapping meditation, self growth workshops, journaling, singing, traveling and exploring new restaurants. For me, life is all about enjoying the connections through people and experiences.
